First two string jane news post
Today we launched the new two string jane site!
Alyssa Zukas is a designer from sunny California. Ever since she could use scissors she
has been crafting creative odds and ends. Alyssa currently designs for Urban Outfitters
and also designs clothes, accessories, and housewares for several other web sites. In her designs, she brings together
opposites—rough + girlie, simple + ornate—to create pieces with a clever twist. Her clothing always evokes the unexpected.
She is inspired by the use of handcrafted details, diverse textures, and vivid color, and she can easily spot her
favorite designers' work on a crowded rack from 5 miles away. Though she started out salvaging old clothes destined
for thrift-store-heaven, she hopes to bring the designs she loves to make and wear to you so you can love them too! Want more? Just look around.
